Faulty Blackberry

I got a Blackberry handset under contract from MTN. While under warranty the Blackberry started to give me problems:

1. The original handset was faulty (frozen), and was sent to MTN for repairs under warranty.
2. I received the first replacement unit which was a refurbished unit (I did not request replacement units)
3. The replacement unit was faulty (frozen) and I sent this in for repairs, within a month of receiving it
4. I received a second replacement unit (also refurbished) which was also faulty so I sent it for repairs to MTN again and received another refurbished unit.
5. The 3rd replacement unit was also faulty (frozen screen) and I sent it for repairs again, and by this time the contract had just ended.
This handset is still with MTN, and I have received communication from MTN that I need to pay R1900 for this repair, this is unacceptable as the all the replacement phones received have been faulty so far.
This phone must either be repaired under warranty or return my original unit to me in a working condition as it was under warranty when I experienced problems. Based on my experiences, Blackberry is a horrible phone - stay away from it. HVRC just want money.
