Vodacom repair escalation ref: EC-2H7A-1DXP4C
Defective Samsung s4 mini after 3 weeks of usage. Attempted repair, no1, was returned to me a non functioning unit, would not switch on. Repair no 2 was escalated to advanced centre in Johannesburg. Consultant assured me the unit was not faulty and was re-checked. The unit was returned. It turns on. However, the battery lasts 3 hours in standby mode with all applications off and screen switched off. The phone is hot, about 55 degrees Celsius as measured by surface thermometer. Email written to Vodacom repairs escalation, above reference. No response! Unit is UNSAFE and may cause harm if it should explode/ melt/ battery leak.
I have attempted to repair the unit and follow the channels, this has failed.
This unit is beyond repair and I have been without a phone for longer than in have had it. It I'm is also potentially harmful. I have been a customer with Vodacom for over 15 years and this treatment is unacceptable.
This requires urgent attention please.
