I applied to move my Telkom line to a new address, The line was supposed to be moved on Thursday 23/10/2013. I was at home the whole day waiting for the technician to arrive. I am still waiting. There were no calls to either of the contact numbers and nobody attempted to ring the bell. I waited the whole day and nobody bothered to show up, or let me know that it will not be done. I want my ADSL line moved and active TODAY. I am sick and tired of the bad service from Telkom. I cant even call because I always have to wait at least 40 minutes before I speak to the first human being, and then even they come across as if they are doing ME a favor by helping me. It is your job and right now I want you to do that job. Another issue is with the billing. I went online and added my bank details for a debit order. I even received confirmation that it was successful. 3 months down the line I owe about R500 because Telkom didn't activate the debit order. Why must I now pay a big amount when I did nothing wrong? The in customer services said I did it wrong. THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO DO IT! And yes, I know you will escalate it to the relevant depart for investigation..
