My neighbour had a working ADSL line which was transferred to my name on 2013/07/31. I received prompt confirmation that the transfer has been done & that a technician will come out to move the actual line.
Monday, 2013/08/12, after phoning to find out why nothing is happening, I was told that Telkom will not be installing the line, as my address is listed as not possible to get an ADSL line & that there is a block on all lines in my area due to cable.
My question is: how is it possible that my neighbour had an active ASL line on 2013/07/31 which according to Telkom suddenly overnight, ceased to exist as of 2013/081/01?
I need the line moved less than 30 meters to my house (same stand as neighbour's house, just further back on a panhandle property) but get absolutely no co-operation from anybody in Telkom. Telkom acc#: 419901330032
I believe Telkom would be more than willing & able to assist if I could just get to connect with the right person willing to go the extra mile & not just giving script answers via a call centre or branch office.
Telkom, please proof me right?
