I am trully at my wits end with MTN and I do not know who to turn to anymore. I enquired about a contract the week of the 14th with MTN and my number was ported to them on the 18th of Dec. I received my phone on the 21st and on the 23rd I called to cancelled the contract (in my 10 days as per MTN) as I was not happy with the billing or the service. Since then it has been a non-stop struggle to get the contract cancelled and the phone picked up. (This after I was told I could drop the phone off at a MTN Direct stores, and MTN Direct East Rand Mall did not want to help me, no surprise there). I spoke to a Zama Khumalo, who assured me that a Mr. Markham would phone me to cancel the contract and a RTT will phone me to pick up the phone. This was the 25th. It is now the 29th and NOTHING has been done. The same was promised to me by a Johan Janse van Niewehuisen, who said I can contact him if anything goes wrong. I tried to phone him and was told I can only leave a message he will phone me back. This was the same thing I had to hear yesterday when I tried to contact Mr. Markham. Someone better assist or I will be forced to speak to Icasa.
