I called the vodacom direct sales contact centre and took out a contract with them on the 17th of July over the phone, confirmed with the consultant I spoke to, to port my Vodacom prepaid number to contract the consultant agreed it would. I received my new phone on the 18th of July the next day i was very happy and I called their after sales department to have my new phone activated and i also advised consultant about porting my old vodacom number to contract, which she said would be done, in 24hrs the next day i got an sms on my phone new phone with a new number, i instatly called vodacom to find out what had happend? they told me my initial request of porting my prepaid number to contract was not done, i was not happy but still stayed calm. i was promised in 48hrs it would be sorted out, monday came i myself called vodacom again, my query was still pending according to them, they told me 48hrs, i called back in wednesday and still my query was not done instead they cancelled the new number but did not port my old number, I called and cancelled as i was not getting proper feedback on my query, its dissapointing the kind of service i got from vodacom im not happy.
