LTE not available on mobile devices

Went to the Sandton Shop and took out a smart internet 3gig promo with LTE included. I then loaded the APNs given. I eventually got connected. I the enquired about why I was not receiving the LTE signal. It took 3 day for me to be told that basically Telkom Mobile does not support most LTE enabled devices. Only the routers they sell on the 2300MHZ frequency work on their network. I would have expected this to have been stated in their in store brochure. But no, lets get them in and maybe the will not notice. [URL Removed]

To top it all off, 3G signal at home and work extremely erratic and was told to call in to get different port number. What is happening with the best mobile network? Just got cut off on a landline by telkommobile technical queries. Network issues?
