24 hours later and still sim swop not active

I took my 9 days old S3 in for repair as it is faulty. A sim swop had to be done as I was loaned a phone which does not have a micro sim as I was told the repair would take 2 weeks. I was promised 15 minutes later to have the sim active. This is a business phone and now I have no connectivity at all and am told that whatever time I do not have the phone any free minutes or data CANNOT be carried over.
I need this phone working by noon please.
