On the 19th of Sept I requested an upgrade on my phone. I was also told I require a SIM swop. Phone/SIM card failed to receive signal. Back the next day. Wait 14 days or what to have the phone repaired/replaced. Keeping in mind that I have not had any use of this phone!! Another SIM swop to be able to use and old phone as the new micro SIM does not fit in the old phone. A few days later I get an SMS stating that I have run up data use within about 4 days exceeding R6000. I immediately logged a dispute and was given responses that it would be 'investigated'. Feedback time would be between 24 hours and 14 days. On 26/9/2013 at 5.15 a.m. I de-activated ALL data usage on my phone. Since then I notice on the Vodacom website that the data usage account has escalated by another almost R4000.
I will certainly NOT proceed with my upgrade. I already told the people so at the Vodacom shop in Canal Walk and they told me that they "MUST" wait on feedback from the cell phone 'supplier'. I have no interest in contracting myself for another 24 months to such a bunch. LOL
Something seriously wrong with your system. SERIOUSLY!!
