I requested an upgrade for a linked-number handset on Friday morning. The consultant got authorisation from the main account holder and told me to expect delivery of my new handset later that day. Over the weekend, I spoke to another service consultant who told me that I will only receive delivery on Monday.
When the delivery eventually came, I could not receive my new phone, because I do not have a copy of the main account holder's ID. It was never communicated to me that I will need this type of documentation.
We have been Vodacom customers for more than a decade, and we still get treated like criminals!!!
