Don't bother to upgrade with Vodacom

I upgraded on the 4th of October after deciding to stay with Vodacom as my SP. When I received my new handset the following week, I came to realise that my new BlackBerry Z10 will be useless until the end of October. Apparently Vodacom can only do migrations once a month now and you need to incur further costs, purchasing a data bundle, to make the phone work until your current package is migrated to the new package. I was never advised with regards to this at any stage during the upgrade process and you guys can just as well come and pick up the phone and reverse this upgrade. Why can other service providers migrate you to your new package on the same day and yet Vodacom fails to offer this to their clients? The worst is that you pay R150 to upgrade via the Vodacom Direct Call Centre, this used to be free by the way, and this is the type of service you receive. For SA's so called number one SP this is unacceptable.
