Vodacom
TOTAL DISINTEREST

My husband purchased two iPhone 5's on upgrade from the above shop on Friday 27/9/13. On Sunday 29/9/13 the one phone lost signal. He returned it on Monday 30/9/13 only for the store to turn of the LTE (4g enabled). The phone continued to loose signal. He took it back on Tuesday 1/10/13. The consultant refused to write the full problem on the form. They also wanted to charge us R50 for a sim adaptor until Victor told them to let my husband use it for free while the phone was in for checking. The store did not check the serial numbers on the box and phone corresponded and instead of phoning him on Friday, they only phone on Sunday. On Sunday, Victor, the manager assured him he would not have a delay. Victor is now on leave. Today, Jerome tells me that we now have to wait until Friday to see if Vodacom will replace. Andrew, the regional manager is on holiday overseas and "doesn't have international roaming" and the owners of the franchise refuse to deal with the public. On the contract sending the phone in, it states that assessments take 5 calendar days - it is now 8 calender days. The other phone is working fine.
