Faulty iphone 4s within 3 days of contract start

Saturday 26 Oct we took out a Cell C contract. The phone took very long to charge so we can switch it on to check & see if all is ok. After about 40 min they managed to get the phone charged and switched on. We got home and charged the phone as we were told for 7 hours without taking it off charge. Sunday morning I started looking at the phone used it for (on and off) 2 hours. My husband used it later the evening for (on and off) 5 hours. (phoned cell c call centre twice for assistance on Sunday night before it died) We couldn't get it to connect to AppStore or ITunes.it just said Loading on the screen. On Monday late afternoon we took the phone to Cell C in Riverside Mall (contract at Centurion) and Rowan said his iphone had a similar problem he pressed a bit here and there then the phone app store and ITunes worked again. We had the phone on charge and when it reached 100% we took the phone off. During the night the phone switched off and we could not get it on. I took it back to Cell C. Rowan checked it in store it did NOT switch on NOR charge. Cell C tells me the phone is working nothing wrong. I WANT A NEW PHONE AS THIS ONE WAS FAULTY AND NOW AMAZINGLY it is working again???
