I was on vodacom website looking at handset upgrade options and saw thet the Sony Xperia Z1 is available for upgrade. I phoned upgrades department 0821959 and spoke to Oscar. I asked him if the Z1 is available as an upgrade because it is a new launch and if I would get it in store and he confirmed that it is available. I drove 30 km to Vodacom world to do the upgrade and the lady at the vodacom shop said that the handset is not yet available. So I showed her that on the website it showed it available. and she could not answer why. So I asked her where to lay a complaint and she said she doesn't know maybe I must call customer care. So I go to customer care in vodacom world to lodge a comlpaint and the lady and the reception said she can't help me. How pathetic! I was given once again wrong information and no one in the "home of vodacom" could assist me with a complaint.
