I am a disgruntled customer, and quite disappointed in the service I received from the Montague gardens branch.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note that ran flat on Sunday and wouldn't charge after that.
I took it in expecting that it is under warrantee, to receive a phone call the next day saying the repairs will cost R700, I asked why and Mike said the quote is for the lower board, new battery and speaker.
I have 2 issues about this quote.
Firstly the speaker worked perfectly fine that day as I made phone calls with it, and when I put another fully charged battery in it, it worked... It just won't charge.
Secondly I didn't understand why I have to pay for it. Back in June 2012, I had the screen replaced and Mike kept repeating that it had 3 months warrantee. I kept saying I couldn't understand why it is effecting this repair.
I even asked him if that repair of the screen is linked to the current problem and he laughed at me (very unprofessional), so I continued to say that I am not a cellphone fundi and am just trying to figure out the connection between my screen repair, (which I paid for) and my current situation.
They then said I must take it up with MTN, so here I am
