Nearly two weeks ago i was mugged; the persons took my bag with all the contents: cellphones, ids, bank cards everything.

as a vodacom customer i had faith that atleast they would assist with replacing it as the fone was insured, i logged a claim and thought everything would be sorted. months prior i had difficulties with teh fone, as it was over charging me and at times the internet would not be working; which they ''fixed'' and changed the plan i was on to something that would work although the internet was not fully functioning - Blackberry without internet, only BIS.
A week later i got news that my claim was rejected because had not been using the fone and also because the sim was not in the handset. i explained to the agent that does it make sense for me to continue using a fone that doesnt even work for me. he told me policy is policy.
I just wish somebidy had let me know of taht policy especially now that im stuck with a service contract tats not very beneficial to me, and hasnt been.

i tried cancelling was told taht would cost a couple thousands; i tried reducing the package plan in order to have that too its a couple of hundereds.
