Faulty memory card

I took out a new contract with cell c about three months ago. A week after I got my phone I started to notice that I continued getting messages saying that there has been errors on the media card. Do u wish to repair? So i obviously would say say yes and it would say ok it has been successfully repaired. Then it started happening like all the time. It deleted all my contacts my whatssap messages disappeared so did all my videos, pictures, music all my important info. I went to the gateway branch and they informed me that they can't do anything and I need to take it to the game city branch. I called the branch and was told to bring it in. So I went to the store and was told sorry they can't replace me with a new one. I should have brought it within the seven day period. I was really disappointed especially it being a brand new phone. I would have expected them to replace the memory card.
