I am presently trying to upgrade my cellular phone with Vodacom, more specifically at the Vodacom Shop in Greenstone Mall. My issue started when I tried to upgrade to the recently advertised Samsung Galaxy S3 phone and was told, after signing up for the upgrade and only after a few days of them launching their new brochure with this same phone, that it was no longer available as it was discontinued. Is this true? Was this a mistake on their part or is this more sinister (false advertising). Anyway being the understanding person that I am, I changed my upgrade to a Sony Xperia V on my second visit to the store. This was last week. Then on last week Saturday the store callls and asks me to come in since my phone has arrived. I tell them that I will collect on Monday, today. I go there and they say that the phone is "gone" and they do not have their paperwork for me. I was fuming. Third visit to this store and empty handed again. Where is the professionalism, company procedure and checks? Is this the way a large company like Vodacom works? I am very upset with Vodacom!
