Cancellation to take 3 months

I first took out a contract in 2010/2011 with Virgin Mobile. I then got a blackberry 9900 for Christmas of 2011. I went into Virgin to change my contract to get BIS for the blackberry. They changed it at a fee of over R1500. I agreed to pay this because the cancellation fee was more. Since then I have had endless problems with signal. I get R100 airtime and 1000 free sms's but cant use them because my phone can never get signal.

I tried to cancel the contract due to the signal issue and a billing issue where I was getting charged for Internet even though its on BIS. They refused and wanted a ridiculous amount. I am paying for a service that doesn't provide.

I then called today to see how long I had on the contract. Firstly the customer service number doesn't work so I called head office where a very rude lady put me through to cancellations and I waited for a lifetime for an operator. When I got through to Moxe he told me I can cancel but due to my debiting being 2 months behind (which I never asked for) I would still pay October, November and December and an extra R280 because I am a month early. No-one told me this from the beginning -I also wont have airtime from end Octobe
