I took out a contract out thru Virgin Mobile while on holiday at Galleria in December 2012. It was with a Samsung Galaxy S3. From the beginning I could not use the phone to sms or make and receive calls, or facebook and internet. I did go back to the store within the 7 days and was told to wait it should come right in the next few days. We could still not use the phone. I went back to the store while on holiday 2 months ago. They did a sim swop, still nothing. Since then we have been complaining to head office. They sent technicians to check the signal and they could not fix it so it can work. We have made more than 50 calls to the head office call center in Johannesburg. Still no help. We wanted to cancel the contract cause we are paying R322.00 a month for a phone we cannot use. They wont let us cancel it and said we must pay in more than R6000-00 to cancel it. We have something we cannot use at all. Feel so ripped off and dont know who to turn to, to help us anymore.
