Brolaz (Cell C) erected an illegal cellphone tower on a residential property in Erna Street, Observatory a few months ago; with absolutely no notification whatsoever to neighbouring residents, and no official plans either. Plans were duly submitted AFTER the tower was up completely; residents raised their objections and the City declared this an illegal structure. After months of silence, Cell C has recently and sneakily re-assumed work on the tower; scaffolding went up and the tower was equipped with a satellite!!
Cell C have proved to be a company with no integrity and no ethics - a company who purposely disregards the values/rights of the City as well as the residents of Johannesburg: merely for financial gain!!!
