Last year December 2012, I phoned Vodacom due to the loss of signal and the dropping of calls. I was promised that the tower was to be erected in Northcliff in Hollywood Drive. Every month I phoned Vodacom with the same query. Each month I receive an sms that states that Vodacom is working on resolving the issue. I was also told that the residents in the area were protesting against the tower, however, I too as well as eight other people who live in Hollywood Drive were never approached by Vodacom regarding market research involving a tower in Northcliff. Each one of the eight residents in Hollywood Drive all have Vodacom subscriptions. Now a year later, the signal is on one minute and off the next, we still have dropped calls or failed to connect, which results in having to make the call again. I run my own business and it is annoying to have dropped calls or calls that lose signal on an ongoing basis, hence the mail to hellopeter.
