No Answer at the insurance call Centre

I have had mtn insurance collect my phone for repairs, i did get a loan phone to carry on with in the meantime, I have on numerous occasions now been trying to call them to get an eta of how long i still need to wait for my phone, but to no . avail it has been 2 weeks now. I have at one stage been on hold for 1 hour, listening to the same whistling song over and over and over and just no one picks up the line and talks to me . i have ended up calling 1808, where i got an immediate response from an operator, to give me the email adres for mtn insurance, as it is not readily available on the mtn website. I have sent a mail with my ref no 103505354 and will see if maybe i get a response now.
