Impossible to contact INsurance Department

My Cellphone was lost over a week and a half ago and I still haven't been able to get a hold of MTN SP's insurance department to claim for a new phone. I have spent over 3 hours on hold to their 083 123 6084 number with no answer, it's like no one works there?

I have also phoned their main call center on 083 1 808 numerous times and been transferred to the insurance department with no answer again after extremely long hold times. An email was sent to the insurance department on my behalf by the 083 1 808 call center for them to call me back but 2 days later and still no call with no one able to tell me how long i can expect to wait for a call back.

I pay for insurance every month WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT TO CLAIM??!?! And further more who is going to pay for the cost of hours I have spent on hold on my telkom bill?

I need a new phone so answer your phone MTN Insurance!!!
