I have now tried on two different occasions to try get hold of the insurance department of MTN. Both times I was on hold in excess of 20 minutes before giving up as my call was yet to be answered. I then tried asking the call centre of customer care to request the insurance department call me. The response was I needed to call the insurance call centre to log such a request. Not an option.
All I want to do is get insurance for my phone but am loathed to wait all that time without even knowing if someone will answer the phone, let alone what I need to give them (which will in all likelihood result in me needing to call back).
