During last month we were informed that we were handed over to the legal department.
My problem is:
We were unaware of amounts outstanding. (R696)
We phoned in March to inform them we will not be renewing and when the contract is up it needs to be cancelled. This was never cancelled and we now owe R2000.
Legal dept insisted that we have to pay IMMEDIATELY.
When I went in to see MTN on the 5th of September, I was informed by Rondley, from the Legal department, that my reference to the cancellation shows that we phoned to cancel the contract, and in the same call we cancelled the cancellation? Who the does that???
Rondley, very nice gentleman, helped me to clear up the problem and we agreed that I am to pay R696, fax proof of payment and everything is sorted and no one will be phoning again.
Well guess what. They still phoning. Insisting that we have not paid. That they have not received my proof of payment.
I am sick and tired of MTN. They are clearly incompetent. I never want to deal with Mtn again and wish they would get off our backs.
We paid you. We faxed the proof of payment (3 times).
