It is more than 10 days ago that I filed a report about Vodacom's lack of service and customer care and have had no response whatsoever. I sent a Samsung cell in for repairs as it would not turn on. It was returned with the comment that it just needed a software upgrade which was done under guarantee. In the interim I was forced to buy a Samsung galaxy mini for R4999.00 as I cannot be without a phone. [I am a doctor].The so called software upgrade worked for 12 hours when the fault RECURRED and I returned the phone to cresta. When I finally got it back again I was told it was water damaged and unrepairable, and that I must have caused this in the 24 hours that I had the phone!!! and it was now my problem.
