I recently subscribed for a "my 2 gig" contract at Vodacom Woodmead and received tremendous customer support from the staff there. However I lost the sim card in Vaal and decided to get a sim swap done at Vodacom Vaal mall. My word! I couldn't believe the treatment I got from the lady (Neo) serving me. I POLITELY requested for help to do a sim swap and it being a data sim card that I had lost, I had no clue what the number for the sim card was and it wasn't on the contract I signed. Despite producing my identification, the lady proclaimed there was no way she could help and proceeded to fold her arms and lean back into her chair. I thought maybe this was a personal attack, shocking! I did not lose my temper in spite of this "ism" and I politely asked if she could call the Vodacom call centre for assistance to get the sim number. her response was a rude " You phone them! " so I called the centre, the contrast in the treatment I got was mind boggling, excellent treatment over the phone. I even waited to rate the lady despite my low battery. Now with sim number at hand, I then sat and waited to be served. it took less than 5mins to get a new sim. I don't know what to say though Vodaco
