Vodacom
Wrong Sim card and bad treatment

My mother lost her topup contract sim card 2 months ago. She went to vodashop in Bethlehem (free state) to buy a sim card. The following happened at that store:
1. While trying to explain to the sales lady what she want, the sales lady pushed her of and assisted the lady who was at the back. Tjis might have been because the saleslady and the other lady were both white.

2.Eventually, the sales lady decided to help her. My mother tried to explain what kind of a sim card she wanted, the lady seemed to busy to listen to someone who struggless to express herself in English or Afrikaans, she decided to give her a wrong sim card.

There is no vodashop in our town, my mother had to spend R120 on transport just to go get a sim swap, now that she has been given a wrong sim card which (according to vadacom call centre) cannot be swaped, she has to spend another 120 to bethlehem to get the sim from a store which offers poor- service.

I tried to phone the store manager since yesterday. I am being told that he is not available, he is busy with a client, he is working at another store.

My mother's request to vodacom is to please give her a settlement amount and cancel this account..
