Poor service

My wife chose not to take a phone with her last contract and the contract only expires next year. She would like to get a new phone. At the branch we visited she just gets told sorry you can't have a phone and then the staff member just stares at us. I protest and then the manager gets called and confirms the what the staff member say and they just stare at us. We were obviously not happy but then I as the customer have to try and think of options that Vodacom can give us! I ask about cancelling the contract and the manager gets angry and tells me I really don't want to do that because of fees etc. Why not? I'm the customer after all. Nothing else is suggested so I now I have to come up with other options and phones for my wife. She wants a specific type of phone, not a smartphone but the manager goes on and on persuading her to get the latest smartphone. She then feels uncomfortable and unsure since she did not understand what he was saying. He's not interested in getting her what she wants - just what he wants. We walked out of your store as unhappy customers. That's bad advertising in case you didn't realise it.
