No response from MTNSP insurance call centre

I've recently upgraded my MTNSP account and obtained a new handset.

I have tried to cancel the handset insurance on my blackberry device with MTNSP Insurance, but to no avail.

I have called 0831236084 for a week, waiting on average 15 minutes, without getting through. I called 808, and logged 3 requests for MTNSP insurance to contact me back (all promising callback within a 24 hr period) - but no response to date.

This has been a complete waist of my time and resources.

The biggest joke is that an MTN walk-in centre staff member told me that she had to wait over 25 mins to get through to cancel her personal account.

It may be time to increase the call centre staff!
