I submitted my Blackberry Z10 to Autopage Benoni for a software issue on. The phone was not booting up correctly and was giving an error, after I had done a software upgrade. The phone was sent in, (the damage noted with the salesperson: a small dent on the top and a small one on the bottom).
2 weeks later I received a sms from the repair company (Ingrammicro) noting that the phone will cost? R1800 to repair. I called them and asked why I was being charged for a repair for a software issue on an 8 month old phone. I was then told the screen was broken. After requesting a photo, I could clearly see the screen was badly cracked! I asked them to rectify the issue, as the phone was sent in with no damage to the screen whatsoever, not even a scratch! After laying a complaint about the issue, all they said was that they will bring it up with management.
I am still waiting for this issue, and the original software issue, to be sorted. I keep getting told that the issue is with "management". It is now almost 5 weeks since I sent the phone in. I am disgusted with this service. Myself and my business contracts have been with Autopage for over 10 years now, and this might easily be the last
