I had MTN contract that was under my previous employer. During the time of conversion, the account had a credit balance of over R1500.
After converting it I was advised that I qualify for upgrade. I went to brooklyn MTN business store for upgrade from MTN R350 to R599. All this took place in June. The lady who helped me gave me a call after I left the store saying that she forgot to gave a form to insure my samsung S4. I told her I will come back following day.
I got billed in July and to my surprise my bill was R1065. I followed up with MTN and they told me that I was incorrectly billed. I told them I don't understand why because the gentleman over the phone couldn't explain to me.
I went to Brooklyn store where i upgrade my contract to find out more regarding the account. I was helped by gentleman called Francois. He looked at my account and said I was billed for my R350 and R599 contract. he promised to followup with accounts department and to get back to me during the week and to this day I never heard from him nor MTN.
Other thing that he mentioned was that for upgrade from one package to another, I loose free minutes and I said I wasn't told. He promised to followup.
