I requested a service cancellation end of July as I was not aware that they dont cancel your service immediately and did not want to sit without internet for the whole month. I then send them a ticket saying that I refuse to pay for something that I will not be using. I made payment for my web hosting and they have suspended my service completely. I wrote an email to their complaints department with no response as yet. Below is there first response when I emailed the ticket.

I can confirm that your request for cancellation was received on the 25 July 2013 and its currently pending cancellation until the 31 August 2013. I have also checked your DSL console and its shows that there was usage on this service during the month of July 2013.

Web Africa has provisioned the service to be active during the months of July and August 2013. All services are also billed in advance and therefore we are unable to credit the charge for the month of August 2013.

I'm sorry I paid for July and cancelled in July I don't see why I should pay for August if i haven't used any of the services.
