We have been trying to cancel our cell c contract for the last 2 months -we went in in June when we were told to cancel the contract a month before the contract comes to an end in September.so we went in on the 1st july to cancel then we were told to coming in on the 5th july (the exact date we signed the contract) which we did... the consultant scanned in all our cancellation document and sent it to the main office (we got a ref. number) on the 2nd (last night all the cell phones services stopped (we cancelled 4 contracts) and instead of reverting to pre-paid we had no network so today we went in to find out why we have no service and why could we recharge the phones. WHEN THE CONSULTANT PHONED THE MAIN OFFICE THEY SAID WE WILL GET BILLED TILL THE END OF AUGUST (EVEN THOU OUR CANCELLATION NOTICE ENDS ON THE 5TH AUGUST) PLUS WE DO NOT GET ACCESS TO THE AIRTIME FOR AUGUST (FROM THE CONTRACT) AS OUR CONTRACT HAS COME AN END... so not only are we forced to extend/start a new contract we also do not get the benefit from the contact as Cellc does not want to provide the air time or network for the month of August . just end the contract on the 5th August (2 enforce ur ts n cs)
