As a new member of Bonitas I was told to do an EFT payment upfront for my membership to be activated.

I promptly paid the first months instalment on 25 July 2013. On 31 July 2013 they confirmed via email that they had received my payment which they debited from my account on 26 July 2013. THUS I HAD DOUBLE PAID. I contacted them to find out why they had done the debit order when I was instructed to make an EFT. Long story short, I needed my EFT payment refunded.

I contacted them on both 26 July, 5 Aug and 16 Aug to inquire about my refund, which they assured me would be done promptly. When I received my "courtesy call" on 16 August I once again discussed the matter of my refund, as I am a student, and was told they would log the request and escalate it for me.

On 22 August I received email correspondence to say the refund would take 5 working days to process and 3 working days for the refund to be paid out. According to me, when I first contacted the, on 26 July i should have received my money early August, and still no refund to date.

Today is 30 August and still no refund. Please can an Accounts department manager deal with this.
