0n 2 August 2013, I contacted Telecom and reported that my land line was "dead". On 3 August, I contacted them again an requested an sms confirming that a fault was logged. To date the line is not fixed. A few months ago i had a similar problem. They took 20 days to fix. Yes u heard correctly 20 days. In the process i rang up a cell bill of over R2500. The bottom line is that we cannot see any competence from Telkom. Your complaints simply goes into file 14 (file 13 is full). Their area managers have been flying under the radar for far too long. Its time to call them to account. This must rank as a world first, having a fault repaired in 20 days if u are lucky. Their call centres are tantamount to not having one. No information is given. U ask them anything, they dont have an answer. You cannot contact anybody in a senior position. One wonders what is discussed that their strat plan meetings when their so called senior managers meet. How about discussing your turn around time Telkom. Your service has become laughable and a dismal failure..Its coming up for 2 weeks and the silence from Telkom is deafening.
