Almost 10 days ago my telephone went dead. Second time in about a month, with first fault taking around a week to fix..Reported on the Telkom website and got a ref number, but after a few days nothing. Escalated twice and even tried the CEO and other senior officials. Not even a call as yet to say it will be fixed. Business is affected, as we cannot make or recieve calls.
Having to try and use cellphones because of Telkoms inefficiency, and to add insult to injury. you cannot even get a response from Senior Management, let alone the people on the ground.
To add to the frustration, saw a technician on the Telkom pole outside and asked if he was fixing the line. No he was looking after another line and knew nothing about my line being out.
Bet however that when it comes to paying the monthly rental, Telkom will be first in the line to get money.
