After doing a simple sim swop at Kloof MTN with Bongamusa on Saturday morning at 930 am. We were told the swop would take 2-24hrs. 24hrs later the new sim is still not active. Phoning MTN is futile. You must go into the store they say."only they can activate it". After phoning the store and explaining myself yet again. We were told I will call u back in 20mins to find out what is going on. 2hrs later still no call back and the shop phone just rings.
We eventually go back to the shop and the swop is reprocessed yet again by Christel. She assures me the after speaking to MTN directly, that it will activated within 2hrs.
Now 48hrs later and still no service. MTN claim to have no record of the sim swop. Even with the reference number. Even though we have received a SMS to say it has been processed. The call centre claims it has not. Now I'm told we told we must wait for mohammed from the shop to call me. I can only imagine he will process the whole thing again. The call centre doesn't know what is happening. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER
