I wont pay for a service I dont have

I moved into my new apartment end of January 2013 and I informed Mweb of my new address so they could liaise with Telkom who needed to install a new connection for me.

I paid my phone account for the month of January. I have been in the new place with no phone line for the past 6 months but still Telkom is billing me??? What for??? I DONT HAVE A CONNECTION!!! I have their lawyers calling me, trying to threaten me with summons and being blacklisted but i explain to them and they say they will explain this to Telkom and get back to me.

When i try to call Telkom, i have to hold for hours because of their useless customer care line which is never responded to by human beings. The automated voice only tells me i owe R1800 which i will not pay because again: I DONT HAVE A LINE!!!
