In March i logged a call to have a ADSL line installed in my complex. I phoned them after a week regarding progress, Telkom told me that our complex doesn't have the infrastructure. I have seen Telkom exchanges in our complex. I went to Telkom direct in Greenstone hill, and they gave me a number of the manager of the area.
She was polite and told us the line will be installed on 29/06, which was done. They did not install the connection points in our home, but only pulled the line to the apartment.
i needed to log another call, for Telkom to install the connection inside the apartment, which I have done on 1/7. They stated that they will contact me in 3 days, and when I phoned today 5/7 and they told me they do not know and the call expiry is only on the 30th August.
I am giving up hope with Telkom. think this is getting ridiculous.
