Countless times I am left with no service on my cellphone. It started June 2012.My husband showed me on his phone on the dialled numbers that he phoned me more than 40 time. I don't have a missed call. No voicemail that answers only the lady's voice that says INVALID NUMBER! by luck sometimes the voicemail answers but I only receive the messages about 2 days later. I also have trouble that my phone losses services at time (7xin 5 days). I only notice it when I realise my phone is quite. If I check the signal bar there stands: NO SERVICE! By then the phone is usually already off for 30 min. Swopped Sim cards 3 times. Changed phones 4 times. Reported to Customer service 808 countless times. Reported to MTN branch countless times. Koena Mpati from headoffice promised me the world - nothing changed. One year later with the same problem. Losing business: customers can't get hold of me. Live on a farm without a phone that works. Can give lots of photos of phone showing no service. I kept record for a while of these no service times SOS insidents no phone. FED UP and stuck in a 24 month contract! Wanted to port to other provider but was promised results. MTN signal and customer service nonexisting.
