I dropped my Blackberry Torch over a month ago and I still do not have my phone back, Mtn Insurance doesn't answer their phone unless you leave it ring fir over 30 minutes and as their system answers the calls you pay to be on hold.
They don't know how their own systems work, I received an sms from Mtn on 28th December 2012 with a price to repair and a note to say call insurance if it is a claim which I did. 10 days later when I called back to see what was happening (and held for over an hour) I was told I should have replied "Yes" to the SMS so the phone was being returned unrepaired and would have to be resubmitted for a quote, The phone was resubmitted, requoted and I have paid my excess etc and I am still waiting. I have been waiting for mtn to answer their phone for 27 minutes now. I pay R100 cell insurance a month, have to get a refurbished phone (not a new one) when I do claim and it has taken over a month and my phone is still not back.
