I have applied 4Mbps early July and internet speed was between 2Mbps and 3Mbps. all of sudden since before yesterday, internet speed dropped to 0.02Mbps which is very hard to open web pages and emails. I phoned Telkom and check everything but couldn't find problem and then I access Mweb home page to check status and I found connection status "Throttend" WITHOUT ANY NOTICE!!
Before I get "throttend" even I did not knowing what it means and I thought similar "shaping" but now I understand it means WASTING MONEY!!
When I phoned MWEB call center, suggest me upgrade to "premium" which is R180 more expensive than standard and R230 more expensive compare others provide same service.
Yesterday I asked them to cancel my service immediately and they said they only can cancel end of August which means I have to pay 1month fee for almost nothing. WHAT A WASTING MONEY!!
