After been charged an exorbitant migration fee (R2500), I was offered a refund, which proves elusive.
After hours of listening to Vodacom's one holding song (Katy Perry), it seems that I won't get the money in 24 hours as promised, but rather in 7 to 14 days (as Vodacom would like it.) In fact I might never get it as it seems to have credited against my Vodacom account. The money was deducted in cash, and I want it back in cash.
Seems like Vodacom will do anything to not pay what they owe, despite being quick to deduct money.
Once again, not a great deal of concern with what the customer wants, but more about what's good for Vodacom.
