I had a particularly large bill this month so i contacted vodacom to enquire whether i could make a cash deposit before my debit order comes through. The agent confirmed that it can be done and only the difference will be deducted on the date the debit order goes through. Stupidly i proceeded to the bank and made a cash deposit of R4500, after doing so i called vodacom again and the lady again confirmed that only the difference would be deducted. To my shock this morning i find that vodacom deducted the full outstanding balance of R5700 instead of the difference of R1200 along with R4500 which was paid to them earlier. Now if you are to proceed to contact these people they will proudly confirm that yes they did deduct the money but will have no clue as to when this money will be paid back if ever. They will to you are arrogant and have no sence of urgency in solving the problem that they themselves caused, yet they are in the wrong with their ill advice
