I have sent a subscriber cancellation form on 7/5/2013 to MTN. To date I have received no acknowledgement of receipt of any kind. I have tried on numerous occasions to call 0831808. This number cuts off every time when you are informed to hold on for the operator. Is this the way MTN makes sure that they can debit another month's subscription after the contract has been cancelled because they did not receive the notice of cancellation in time? It is amazing how easy it is to get the contract but extremely difficult to cancel the contract.
