Once again I am having to write a report on Hello Peter in order to get a response from MTN.
I emailed Customer Service on 28 Oct 2013, but have not received a response, which given the time constraints is unacceptable!
I went into the MTN Store in the Coastlands Hotel complex (Umhlanga Ridge) to arrange cancellation of my contract on expiry date - 28 Nov 2013 - after putting up with appaling service and poor signal for 2 years; my internet only works about half the time!!!
I was informed that I had to complete a "subscriber cancellation form" and hand deliver it to the store on 8 Nov 2013.
I find it strange that the service consultation would not accept my form. She said that this would amount to an early cancellation! I am not trying to cancel my contract early but want to ensure that notice is given timeously as I do not expect to be billed with an extra months subscription.
I also find it strange that I was told to do this on 8 Nov, as the cancellation form specifically refers to 20 business days.
Please confirm whether I can email the cancellation form to MTN and whether this can be done before 8 Nov 2013
