So much for Convergence

I handed a tablet in at the JHB TDS on 27th February 2013. On handing in the device the proof of purchase together with a copy of the contract was provided. As per the invoice received the warranty was to expire 27th March 2013. On the 20th March 2013 (almost 1 month later) I received a message the Tablet has been allocated to a repair center for repairs - REF TEL017365. On the 27th March 2013 I received a message that the tablet has been deemed out of warranty although it was handed in still under warranty and has been quoted for R4361.39 including VAT. After numerous visits to the Telkom Direct Shops and escalations to branch managers and area mangers and Device life cycle mangers the device will be returned to the TDS on 12 July 2013 still not repaired. For 5 months Telkom Business was blaming Telkom Mobile and Telkom Mobile blaming Telkom Business... So much for convergence..
