Wise tablet disaster!

I got a 3G Wise Tablet from Telkom Direct, Midlands Mall. Problems with the tablet soon appeared since it will not receive a 3G signal. I returned to Telkom where no-one from Telkom was able to assist me and they referred me to Raul form the 8ta side, who was most helpful and friendly. After many hours in the store, it was found that my Cell C sim card does not work on the device. A check at Cell C confirmed the sim card is working but it seems the device is incompatible with the Cell C sim card.

Yesterday I received a phone call from Nonhlanhla who proceeded to tell me that since there is nothing wrong with the device, it is not Telkom's responsibility. She tried to convince me 1) that the device is primarily a wi-fi device and the 3G is simply an added feature 2) That the device is offered in conjunction with my ADSL service and hence Telkom is not responsible for the 3G option 3) That I can return the device to Telkom and suffer the "penalties" of continuing to pay the subscription for the next 24months 4) That I am unreasonable to expect the device to perform as advertised.

Wise tablet support on Facebook, Twitter and website is non-existent.
